Karus Announces Election of Michael Tucker as Director

Vancouver, BC — December 11, 2025

Karus Mining Inc. is pleased to announce that at the Company's Annual General and Special Meeting held on December 5, 2025, shareholders elected Michael Tucker as a director of the Company.

Mr. Tucker has added great value to the Company as an advisor and we are now thrilled to welcome him to the Board.

Mr. Tucker, P.Geo., holds a Bachelor of Geology from Laurentian University and a Master of Geological Sciences from the University of British Columbia, and has over ten years of field exploration experience. Most recently he was Exploration Manager for Balmoral Resources (acquired by Wallbridge Mining), where he led exploration across all projects including the Fenelon gold project which triggered the takeover by Wallbridge. Balmoral won multiple exploration awards during his tenure. Mr. Tucker previously served as VP Exploration at Karus and as Technical Advisor.

Karus is the 100% owner of the ~995 km² South Cariboo Gold District, which includes the drill-stage FG Gold and Gold Creek projects in British Columbia, and also controls the Mineral Creek gold exploration project, centred approximately 10 kilometres from Port Alberni on Vancouver Island. Karus is the result of the merger of Karus and Theia Gold Corp — Theia having been founded by a number of mining and finance professionals, and Karus having been originally financed by Yamana Gold, whose former executives founded Theia and were instrumental in the merger.
