Karus Mining Inc. announces changes to its Board of Directors and the strategic fast-tracking of exploration activities.
- Alex Gostevskikh has resigned as a director.
- Scott Trebilcock and Andrew Kaip have been appointed to the Board.
- Michael Tucker has been engaged as a technical advisor.
- The Company has granted incentive stock options for 1,090,200 treasury shares at C$0.77 per share for a five-year term.

The Company plans to strengthen its management team, develop a detailed exploration plan, and raise capital to advance the FG Gold, Gold Creek and Mineral Creek projects across British Columbia and Vancouver Island. Alex Gostevskikh remains Interim CEO while the Company seeks a permanent replacement.
Appointee Backgrounds
- Scott Trebilcock — 30+ years in mining; currently Chief Development Officer at Mandalay Resources; former CEO of KORE Mining.
- Andrew Kaip — 25+ years in mining; former Karus CEO; geologist and equity analyst.
- Michael Tucker, P.Geo. — 10+ years of exploration experience; former VP Exploration at Karus.
About Karus Mining
Karus is the 100% owner of the ~995 km² South Cariboo Gold District, which includes the drill-stage FG Gold and Gold Creek projects in British Columbia, and also controls the Mineral Creek gold exploration project, centred approximately 10 kilometres from Port Alberni on Vancouver Island. Karus is the result of the merger of Karus and Theia Gold Corp — Theia having been founded by a number of mining and finance professionals, and Karus having been originally financed by Yamana Gold, whose former executives founded Theia and were instrumental in the merger.
